1. About Moja

Moja Commerce is a registered trademark of Reli Technology Limited, a company incorporated in Tanzania. Throughout this document, "Moja", "we", "us" or "our" refers to Reli Technology Limited.

Moja provides a unified commerce platform enabling merchants to sell in-store and online, manage inventory, accept mobile money payments, and access business intelligence tools. By accessing or using any Moja product or service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use Moja. By registering an account you represent that:

All information you provide is accurate and current.
You are duly authorised to operate the business on behalf of which you are registering.
You will maintain the security of your account credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

3. Permitted Use

You agree to use Moja only for lawful commercial purposes. You must not:

Use the platform to facilitate illegal transactions or money laundering.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with platform infrastructure.
Resell or sublicense access to the platform without our written consent.
Transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code.

4. Payment Services & Wallet

Payment collection services (including the Moja Business Wallet and mobile money integrations) are subject to additional review and approval. Activation of payment features requires submission of Know-Your-Customer (KYC) documentation and compliance with applicable regulations under the Tanzania National Payment Systems Act (2015), Electronic Money Regulations (2015), and AML Act (2006, as amended).

Moja acts as an agent facilitating payment connections. Transaction fees are disclosed separately at the time of merchant onboarding. We reserve the right to suspend payment services for accounts that exhibit suspicious or non-compliant activity.

5. Subscription & Billing

Some Moja features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are charged in advance on the billing cycle you select. Refunds are available within 7 days of initial charge if the service has not been materially used. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' written notice.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the Moja platform — including software, branding, content, and documentation — remains the exclusive property of Reli Technology Limited. You retain ownership of your own business data and content uploaded to Moja.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Tanzanian law, Moja's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits or data.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days' written notice. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for material breach of these Terms, regulatory non-compliance, or suspected fraudulent activity. Upon termination you may export your data within 30 days before it is deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Tanzania or, where agreed in writing, through arbitration under the Tanzania Arbitration Act.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Moja following notice of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes.
